We were pleased to revisit the discussion on current issues regarding promising approaches to intensifying catalytic processes, with a particular focus on the targeted design and implementation of non-stationary and dynamic regimes in catalytic systems, as well as the development and application of structured catalysts.
A distinctive feature of the scientific forum was the combination of in-depth fundamental research with presentations of significant practical value. The practical focus of the DPKS-2026 conference addressed the intensification of processes for producing high-value chemicals, processing hydrocarbon feedstocks and biofuels, generating hydrogen for industrial and energy needs, and solving environmental challenges.
The event brought together over 140 scientists and specialists from 10 countries, including representatives from academic institutes, leading universities, government agencies, major research and production organizations, specialized departments of oil companies, and developers of specialized software.
The conference program featured 3 plenary lectures, 8 keynote lectures, 61 oral presentations, and over 40 poster presentations.
A roundtable discussion titled "Artificial Intelligence and Digital Platforms in Chemistry and Chemical Technology" was held as part of the conference program. Participants discussed the current state and future prospects of digital technologies in the fields of chemistry and chemical technology.
The forum served as a platform for active, effective communication and the exchange of experience among established scientists, engineers, and technologists, as well as young professionals, students, PhD candidates, and representatives from industrial, technological, and innovative companies.
